Constitutional Carry Petition

To members of the Ohio State Legislature and Governor John Kasich:

Whereas:	The right to keep-and-bear arms is protected by the Constitution of the State of Ohio and the Second Amendment to the U.S. Constitution, which clearly states "the right of the people to keep and bear arms shall not be infringed;" and,
Whereas:	Requiring law-abiding citizens to ask government permission before they can exercise their constitutional right to arms is a clear violation of that right, and;
Whereas:	Gun rights supporters like myself strongly support the concept of "Constitutional Carry" to restore the rights of law-abiding citizens to carry without having to beg for government permission, pay a fee, or be fingerprinted like a common criminal.
Therefore:	Therefore, as a resident of Ohio, I URGE you to support "Constitutional Carry" legislation, House Bill 152 by Rep. Ron Hood and Rep. Tom Brinkman. I also urge you to oppose any anti-gun legislation that further restrict our right to possess or carry a firearm.
