Constitutional Carry Petition

To: My State Representative & Senator


WHEREAS: The Right of the People to defend themselves from violent criminal attack is God-given and unalienable; and

WHEREAS: This Right is protected by the Second Amendment to the United States Constitution and includes the right to carry a handgun for self-defense; and

WHEREAS: Requiring law-abiding citizens to beg for government permission through the permit system before they can exercise their constitutional right to keep and bear arms is a clear violation of that right;

THEREFORE: On behalf of law-abiding gun owners all across the state of Tennessee, I insist you publicly go on record in support of Constitutional Carry and work to advance this piece of pro-gun legislation.
