Dear Fellow Patriot,

It is unacceptable that law-abiding Ohioans must beg the government to exercise their God-given right to self-defense.

That's why National Association for Gun Rights is making a push to make Constitutional Carry a reality in the Buckeye State!

It is already legal to open carry a firearm in Ohio without a permit, making the concealed carry permit nothing more than a "coat tax."

House Bill 178, sponsored by Representatives Ron Hood (R-78) and Tom Brinkman (R-27), repeals the requirement to first obtain a permit and pay an expensive fee to carry a concealed handgun.

Unfortunately, anti-gun politicians and law enforcement bureaucrats don't see it that way.

They would rather talk a big game about supporting the Second Amendment, all the while continuing to benefit from the "coat tax."

That's why I need your help!

Please sign your Constitutional Carry petition below urging your elected officials to support and vote for Constitutional Carry HB 178 in the 2019 legislative session.

Thank you for all you do to advance our Second Amendment rights.

For Freedom,

Dudley Brown
President
National Association for Gun Rights

Petition to my State Senator and State Representative:

WHEREAS: The right of the people to keep and bear arms is protected by both the Constitution of the United States and the Constitution of the State of Ohio; and,

WHEREAS: This unalienable right clearly includes the right to carry a handgun for self-defense; and,

WHEREAS: Requiring law-abiding citizens to ask government permission through the permit system before they can exercise their constitutional right to arms is a clear violation of that right; and,

WHEREAS: Real-life experience and extensive research both clearly demonstrate that restricting the right to bear arms in self-defense only encourages violent crime;

THEREFORE: I respectfully urge you as my duly elected Legislators to publicly support and vote for Constitutional Carry HB 178. The National Association for Gun Rights will keep me informed about your votes and actions.
