President Joe Biden has picked former senior advisor to multiple gun control groups such as Everytown and Giffords, David Chipman, to head the ATF.

Chipman has indicated his support for bans on semi-autos (so-called “Assault Weapons”), standard capacity magazines, and more extreme background check (aka gun registration) regulations.

Simply put, David Chipman is Joe Biden's choice to dismember and dismantle the Second Amendment to the U.S. Constitution.

WHEREAS: The Second Amendment to the U.S. Constitution clearly states “the right of the people to keep and bear arms shall not be infringed;” and

WHEREAS: David Chipman is President Joe Biden's nominee to lead the ATF; and

WHEREAS: Chipman has a long history of working with and working for multiple anti-gun organizations whose goal is the dismantling and destruction of the Second Amendment;

WHEREAS: Chipman supports all manner of infringements on the Second Amendment, including so-called “Assault Weapon” bans, standard capacity magazine bans, etc;

THEREFORE: As your constituent, I urge you to actively and vigorously oppose the nomination of David Chipman to lead the ATF.
