Dear Fellow Patriot,

As you know, lawmakers nationwide look to Texas when it comes to gun rights.

But currently, the Lone Star State lags behind 20 other states that already have a Constitutional Carry law.

And so long as Texas fails to pass Constitutional Carry, politicians in other states will use that fact as cover to avoid the issue all together.

But if Texas were to pass Constitutional Carry, more states are sure to follow.

And, the Texas House of Representatives recently passed House Bill 1927, a Constitutional Carry bill, with strong bipartisan support!

Why is it that we have to have a permit for our Second Amendment rights?

If passed by the Senate and signed by the Governor, Constitutional Carry would simply allow law-abiding Texans at least 21 years old to carry a handgun for self-defense without first begging for government permission.

So please sign your Constitutional Carry petition to Texas Governor Abbott and Lt. Governor Dan Patrick below!

Constitutional Carry Petition

To Texas Governor Greg Abbot & LT Governor Dan Patrick

WHEREAS: The Right of the People to defend themselves from violent criminal attack is God-given and unalienable; and

WHEREAS: This Right is protected by the Second Amendment to the United States Constitution and includes the right to carry a handgun for self-defense; and

WHEREAS: Requiring law-abiding citizens to beg for government permission through the permit system before they can exercise their constitutional right to keep and bear arms is a clear violation of that right;

THEREFORE: On behalf of law-abiding gun owners all across America s, I insist you publicly go on record in support of Constitutional Carry HB 1927 and work to advance this piece of pro-gun legislation with no compromising amendments or delays! The National Association for Gun Rights will keep me informed of your actions.

Signed,
