Dear Fellow Patriot,

U.S Senator Joni Ernst (R-IA) has found common ground with President Biden on the “acceptable” amount of gun control to be included in the Violence Against Women Act or (VAWA).

Although the proposed legislation omits the “Red Flag” language that was previously considered, it still contains dangerous gun control language that would require Attorneys General to issue an all-points bulletin every time someone gets denied on a NICS background check.

The NICS system issues false denials every day, and the language in this bill could turn law-abiding Americans in to fugitives for simply having the same name as a criminal.

There is no excuse for any Senator especially a Republican to be cutting gun control deals with President Biden.

That is why I hope you'll sign your "No Gun Control in VAWA" petition to your Senators below today!

NO Gun Control in VAWA

A Petition to my U.S. Senators

WHEREAS: The Second Amendment to the U.S. Constitution clearly states “the right of the people to keep and bear arms shall not be infringed;” and

WHEREAS: The proposed text for the Violence Against Women Act has been injected with radical gun control that could actually serve to disarm women in a time of need; and

WHEREAS: This bill could turn countless Americans into fugitives for being falsely denied a firearm due to an all too common glitch in the NICS system;

THEREFORE: The current Senate version of VAWA clearly infringes on the right to keep and bear arms, and as your constituent, I urge you to oppose this dangerous bill immediately.

Signed,
