Dear Fellow Patriot,

U.S Senator Joni Ernst (R-IA) has found common ground with President Biden on the “acceptable” amount of gun control to be included in the Violence Against Women Act or (VAWA).

Although the proposed legislation omits the “Red Flag” language that was previously considered, it still contains dangerous gun control language that could actually render women unarmed and defenseless in a time of crisis.

Moreover, the bill establishes “emotional distress” as the vague qualifier for a person’s Second Amendment Rights to be stripped for life.

There is no excuse for any Senator especially a Republican to be cutting gun control deals with President Biden.

That is why I hope you'll sign your "No Gun Control in VAWA" petition to your Senators below today!

NO Gun Control in VAWA

A Petition to my U.S. Senators

WHEREAS: The Second Amendment to the U.S. Constitution clearly states “the right of the people to keep and bear arms shall not be infringed;” and

WHEREAS: The proposed text for the Violence Against Women Act has been injected with radical gun control that could actually serve to disarm women in a time of need; and

WHEREAS: This bill would strip countless Americans of their Second Amendment Rights based solely on the accusation of “emotional distress” which is not sufficient cause to strip a law-abiding citizen of any Constitutional Right;

THEREFORE: The proposed version of VAWA clearly infringes on the right to keep and bear arms, and as your constituent, I urge you to oppose this dangerous bill immediately.

Signed,
